The growing belly

I'm at 35 weeks here and can't believe how big my belly has gotten. This is all going to shrink back down to normal, right?!? Alexia had the hiccups today. She has been moving lots and so far no complaints about pregnancy... we'll see what the final month brings...

Mini-vacation

Jamie and I decided to go on one last 'mini-vacation' before the baby arrives. We spent the weekend in stratford strolling down the streets and saw the play Julius Caesar. On sunday we met for coffee with our prego friends Sarah and Frank. Good times!

Baby Shower

The baby shower was beautiful. It was great to see everyone and recieve so many well wishes and cute gifts. Lunch at La Cucina was delicious, especially the Strawberry Shortcake that we had for dessert. Jamie was sweet and brought roses for me afterwards, and flowers for our moms as well.

Ultrasounds

The 1st ultrasound was exciting- listening to the heartbeat and seeing her move every now and then was really cool- I may have even gotten a little teary eyed. Alexia seemed quite comfortable in this position, so I went back a few weeks later for another ultrasound so we could get a better look. This time Alexia turned for a few seconds and Misty (the US technician) was able to snap this shot. "A healthy beautiful little girl" she said. Jamie and Jeremy were able to come and view her movements- it was a great experience.
